Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
Welcome to Cyber Energy. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, products and solar installation solutions. By accessing our platform, requesting a site audit, or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of Services
Cyber Energy provides end-to-end solar energy solutions, including site audits, engineering design, product supply, equipment installation, net-metering facilitation and post-installation technical support. Specific deliverables, project timelines and system specifications are detailed in your individual Service Level Agreement (SLA) or sales contract.
2. Quotations and Pricing
- Validity — all official price estimates and quotations issued by Cyber Energy are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issuance, unless stated otherwise.
- Pricing adjustments — final system pricing is subject to revision based on on-site technical audits, structural roof assessments, cabling distances, or changes in government utility tariffs and duties.
- Taxes & utility fees — quotes include hardware and installation labor. Statutory utility application fees, meter testing fees, or third-party grid connection charges imposed by local utility authorities are the customer's responsibility unless explicitly listed in the contract.
3. Online Orders
- Orders placed on this website are requests to purchase; they are confirmed by our team by phone or WhatsApp before dispatch.
- Payment is currently by cash on delivery unless otherwise agreed.
- We may cancel an order if an item is out of stock, the delivery address is unreachable, or pricing was displayed incorrectly; in such cases any payment made is refunded in full.
4. Site Access and Roof Readiness
To ensure a successful installation, the customer agrees to:
- Provide our engineering and installation crew with safe, unobstructed access to the roof, electrical distribution boards and designated equipment areas during agreed installation hours.
- Ensure the installation site has structural integrity capable of supporting solar PV mounting frameworks and equipment.
- Secure necessary permissions from building associations, landlords or local municipal bodies where required.
5. Net Metering & Utility Approvals
While Cyber Energy handles application processing, documentation and technical liaison with local utility distribution companies (DPDC, DESCO, BREB, BPDB, NESCO, WZPDCL):
- Final approval, smart meter testing schedules and grid interconnection timelines are governed by government regulatory bodies (SREDA) and local power distributors.
- Cyber Energy is not liable for operational delays caused by utility board inspections or external administrative approvals.
6. Warranties and Performance Guarantees
- Product warranties — equipment supplied by Cyber Energy (solar panels, inverters, battery storage) carries official manufacturer warranties as outlined in your project agreement.
- Workmanship warranty — we provide a dedicated workmanship warranty covering installation labor, wiring connections and structural mounting for the period specified in your sales contract.
- Warranty voidance — warranties become void if equipment is modified, altered, repaired or tampered with by unauthorized third-party technicians, or subjected to physical negligence, extreme external forces or unapproved electrical loads.
7. Payment Terms
- Payments must be made according to the installment schedule outlined in your signed sales proposal or invoice.
- Systems, hardware and equipment remain the legal property of Cyber Energy until full payment has been received and cleared.
- Delayed payments may result in project suspension or postponed commissioning dates.
8. Limitation of Liability
Cyber Energy shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages — including loss of grid power during external utility blackouts, force majeure events (such as severe natural disasters, lightning strikes beyond surge protector limits, or grid failures), or user negligence.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any legal disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
